MEET OUR COMMUNITY

I love St. Aloysius because it is a prayerful and welcoming parish. They are truly dedicated to serving the downtown Detroit community in any way possible by offering daily and weekend masses and providing multiple services to feed and clothe those in need.
Marilen Martinez
I love St. Al’s because of its diversity. It is a true reflection of our society. I also love the neighborhood services in that the parish does a lot with very little in providing necessities like food, health care and personal hygiene items that most of us take for granted. Those are just a few of the many things that I love about our parish. My wife and I truly believe that God brought us here.
TONY SMITH
After attending mass for a couple months and experiencing the most welcoming community at St. Aloysius, I decided that I was ready to convert and welcome Jesus into my life. I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful parish community that has helped to guide and inspire me through my faith journey.
