New Visual Identity

April 29, 2020

Logo and Brand

Our parish has embarked on a process of developing a new visual identity that encompasses many of the defining features of our St. Aloysius community — from the majesty of the liturgy to our missionary discipleship in the heart of Detroit.

We begin with a new logo that depicts the skyline of Detroit with our church's distinct silhouette incorporated. This represents our role as stewards of Christ's Good News in the city's center as well as our presence as a spiritual home for all for nearly 150 years.
Our new brand incorporates rich and jewel-toned colors inspired by the mosaic representation of Christ the Good Shepherd above our altar and the majesty of the sacraments.
While we may have a new face, our mission remains the same. We are excited to use these tools to connect with members of our parish and the Detroit community, to share the love of Christ and unleash the Gospel, and to welcome individuals at any step of their spiritual journey.
